Adult Programs

The Slater Public Library provides a variety of free programs for all ages. Please see our calendar for a complete listing of all upcoming programs.

 

First Fridays September – May from 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Join us for lunch on the first Friday of certain months. Check our events calendar for information on when we will meet next. 

We will serve lunch from 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM with a program starting at noon.

Free will donation.

 

Book Club meets once per month for discussion. Books may be picked up at the library prior to the meeting for check-out and discussion is informal and fun.   Additional activities may be planned during the year such as movie showings of related titles at the library, trips to the movie theater with a lunch discussion, as well as an annual fall day trip.

 

Bring in your current art project to work on among friends! Paint by numbers, diamond art, crochet, or any other number of things. There are also some adult coloring pages available if you don't have a project to bring but want join anyway.

Join us for coffee every Friday at 10 AM

 (except for Fridays when we have Meet n’ Eat Lunch)

 

Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:00 AM during the school year. Check the calendar for summer changes.

Our yoga program is open to anyone ages 13 and up.  Sessions take place before the library is open for business and are FREE.  Registration is required.

 

Join us once a month to play mahjong! New and experienced players welcome.
